Cancer Navigators Inc. is a community-based, non-profit organization providing cancer patients with education and counseling, along with access to valuable resources. These help ease some of the difficult emotions and stress patients may experience, while allowing them to maintain a sense of control over their diagnosis and treatment. Founded in 2006 and opened in 2008, Cancer Navigators is governed by its own volunteer board of directors, and receives administrative support from Floyd Medical Center. Long recognized as a leader in innovative programs for cancer patients and their families, Cancer Navigators conducts its own fundraising campaigns to support patient programs. The organization is located on the third floor of the Harbin Clinic Tony E. Warren, M.D. Cancer Center on the Floyd Medical Center campus.
